About Us
We are a gathering of people who are discovering what it means to be genuine followers of Jesus Christ – which put simply, means to live our lives the way he has instructed, to serve God, and those around us, as best we can.
Our goal is to be the church rather than just come to church! We are a friendly, down-to-earth church family, who live in the real world but are being transformed by a relationship with God that is supernatural! We want to live out our relationship with a loving God in a way that is true to ourselves and relevant to our culture.
We are seeking to connect with God, with each other, and with the world around us and we want to be a safe place where people are free to come and explore and discover God’s love and mercy for themselves.
Sunday Service
Our Sunday service is the time when we come together as a church to celebrate and worship God. The purpose is to encourage us in our spiritual lives and to have a place where people who are curious about God and the church can come and feel included. Everyone is welcome at our services.
Our services start with a time of worship that lasts for about 20-30 minutes. Our worship is contemporary in style and is usually led by a band (guitar, bass and drums), with the words to the songs projected on a screen. You are welcome to sing along or simply sit back and listen. Worship is followed by a short break for tea and coffee and a chance to say hello to each other.
This is followed by a message that lasts around 30 minutes. Our Sunday messages are to help us to engage in a life changing relationship with Jesus, and provide the biblical and practical tools for 21st century living.
After the message we have a ministry time where people are given an opportunity to respond to the message, receive prayer for healing (or any other issue) as well as a general opportunity to draw closer to God than where you are at the moment. The aim of this time is to make room for God to communicate and minister to us by His Holy Spirit.
